Why this exists

Good causes deserve scrutiny. Bad causes demand it.

A charity’s annual report is a 60-page PDF and most of it is photos of smiling children. Three numbers, honestly rendered, already tell you more than the PDF does. This tool does the flipping for you.

It will not tell you whether a charity is effective. Receipts aren’t outcomes. It will tell you whether the basic financial hygiene is there, whether filings are up to date, and whether the spend pattern matches the story the charity tells.
