Do Gooder is a free newsletter about evidence-based giving, published by Rees Calder. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Email address. When you subscribe, we store your email address to send the newsletter. That is it. We do not collect your name, location, or payment information.
Basic analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking) to understand which articles are read. We see page views and referrers. We do not see who you are.
What we do not collect
We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not sell data. We do not run retargeting ads. We do not share your email with third parties. We do not have an advertising business model. The newsletter is free and reader-supported.
We send the weekly newsletter via a transactional email provider. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. We honour unsubscribe requests immediately and delete your email address within 7 days of unsubscription.
Your rights
Under GDPR and equivalent regulations, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. Email rees@do-gooder.co and we will respond within 48 hours.
Changes
If we ever change this policy in a material way, we will email subscribers before the change takes effect.
